General Questions
-
No referral is required to see one of our psychologists or therapists. You can book a private session directly for immediate support. Many clients choose this option for its flexibility, privacy, and ease of access—especially if they’ve already used their Medicare-rebated sessions.
If you wish to claim Medicare rebates, you can obtain a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, which provides rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year. Our team can guide you through the process and help you choose the best option for your needs.
All clients who are eligible for Medicare benefits can use their MHCP when booking with SGI. Clients not eligible for Medicare are still welcome to book private sessions (rebates won’t apply).Description text goes here -
