3. Appointments and Payments
Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or by email.
Fees for psychological services will be discussed prior to your appointment. Payment is required at the time of the session, unless otherwise arranged in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
Online Payments & Surcharges (Stripe)
Online payments made through our website are processed securely using Stripe. By completing an online payment, you acknowledge and agree that Stripe may collect and store limited personal and financial information necessary to verify card details and process transactions in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and security standards.
A standard Stripe processing surcharge of 1.7% + $0.30 per transaction applies to all online card payments. This surcharge is set by Stripe and is not determined by Self Growth Institute.
Clients who choose to pay directly to the clinic (including in-person EFTPOS, cash, or bank transfer) will pay only the stated session fee, and no Stripe surcharge will be applied.
Self Growth Institute does not store your full card details. All online transactions are encrypted and securely handled through Stripe’s payment gateway.
4. Telehealth Services
SGI Psychology offers telehealth sessions via secure online platforms.
By using telehealth, you acknowledge and agree that:
Online services may have limitations compared to in-person therapy
You are responsible for ensuring a private, safe, and distraction-free environment during your session
Technical difficulties may occasionally affect session quality or connectivity
Our telehealth services comply with relevant Australian professional and ethical standards
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
Your personal and health information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
While every reasonable measure is taken to protect your information, absolute security cannot be guaranteed when data are transmitted online.
SGI Psychology is not responsible for unauthorised access arising from factors outside our control, such as system or network breaches.
