Victims of Crime Support – Funded Psychology (FAS /VOCAT)
Compassionate Psychological Support for Victims of Crime
If you have been affected by a violent crime in Victoria, you may be eligible for fully funded psychological support through the Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) — previously managed by VOCAT.
We provide trauma-informed, confidential and professional therapy to support your recovery.
What is the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)?
The Financial Assistance Scheme offers support for people who have been physically, emotionally, or psychologically harmed by a violent crime. Funding can include:
Psychological counselling
Treatment plans and medical reports
Support for recovery and safety needs
This program replaced the former Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT) system in 2023, though many people still search using VOCAT terms.
